Grandpa Swoof was a Swoof character that appeared in the episodes "The Astro Smurf" and "Dreamy's Pen Pals". He was actually Papa Smurf, who was changed into a Swoof by the potion that changed all his little Smurfs except Dreamy into Swoofs. Grandpa Swoof had green skin and long white hair with a white beard and moustache, and he wore a red loincloth, possibly indicating his role as the village leader.

His character was voiced by Don Messick.
