Greedy is one of the characters featured in Vic George's Smurfs fanfiction stories related to his character Empath. Though his personality is similar to that of his cartoon show universe counterpart, he takes more after the Baker Smurf character from the original comic books in that he has to keep a constant eye out for his brother Nabby who likes to steal whatever he makes for food. He also prefers not to work alone in his kitchen, as he usually has a few other Smurfs under his supervision helping him prepare the daily meals.
