Greedy is one of the main characters of the Smurfs cartoon show, who has appeared on the show throughout its entire run. He is the village chef responsible for keeping the village well-fed with his cooking skills. He is also something of a food freak who tends to hoard food for his own personal enjoyment. He is usually identified by a modified Smurf hat that resembles a chef's hat, and occasionally a napkin tied around his neck.

His character was voiced by Hamilton Camp, and is an amalgamation of the Greedy and Baker Smurf characters of the original Smurf comic books. The original comic book version of Greedy (referred to as Sweety by Papa Smurf in "Just Like Their Names") appears in the "non-canonical" Smurf story "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute".
