Hefty is one of the main characters of Raven Child's series of Smurfs fanfiction stories, who is for the most part identical to his cartoon show universe counterpart. During the events in her stories, Hefty meets his female counterpart Toughette and eventually falls in love with her, though a disaster in the village leaves both him and her, plus Brainy, Brainette, Baby Smurf, Babette, and the Smurflings as the only survivors. Hefty, Toughette, Baby, and Babette are captured and placed in suspended animation by Asmoday, with Baby and Babette being the first ones freed and the other two later freed and relocated to the new Smurf Village that Brainy created in North America.
