Homnibus is a supporting character that appeared in various episodes of the Smurfs until Season 8, usually in the "Adventures Of Sir Johan And Peewit" stories, as well as in the "non-canonical" Smurf story "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute". He is a kindly old wizard who is friends with Papa Smurf, who has given his pet dog Puppy (formerly called Homni-One) to the Smurfs as a pet, and who also assists Sir Johan and Peewit in their adventures. In "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute", he has transported the two humans to the outskirts of the Smurf Village by using "hypno-kinesis".

His character in the cartoon show was voiced by Alan Oppenheimer.
