Goofs
- Continuity error: The ship that was built to rescue the missing Smurfs had five crew members (including Papa Smurf) when it set sail. When the missing Smurfs were found at sea, there were three crew members (Dreamy, Papa Smurf, and Grouchy) on the ship.
- Character error: Smurfette said that Lazy bumped his head while taking control of Handy's peddle when the latter was knocked unconscious. Actually, Lazy was never shown bumping his head on anything.
- Continuity error: After the Smurfs escaped the volcano which they were in with Handy's helicopter-like machine, Handy hit his head and was knocked off conscience while operating one of the five peddles. Lazy saw this and quickly took over from an unconscious Handy. When the Smurfs were able to regain control of their machine, Lazy is shown operating a peddle while Handy is nowhere to be found near him. Also, in one shot, it seems that there is another peddle box above Lazy even though none did not previously appeared.
