Sloppy is one of the main characters who has appeared in the Smurfs cartoon show mostly during Season 2 and made a cameo in the Season 3 episode "Baby's First Christmas". He is a Smurf who's mostly interested in collecting smelly things and has a pet fly who hangs around him. He is easily identified by the ragged and patched Smurf clothes that he wears, including a Smurf hat that completely covers over his eyes. In Vic George's Smurfs fanfiction series of stories related to his character Empath, Sloppy is the lead guitarist and founder of the music band Azrael Rocks, ironically named for the cat Azrael.
