"Smurfette's Sweet Tooth" was an episode that appeared in Season 4 of the Smurfs cartoon show.

Summary

All of the Smurfs are gathered outside of Greedy's house. Smurfette says, "I've been waiting all year for this!" The Smurfs are waiting for their share of Smurfberry candy. Each Smurf is given one candy for each day of the year. Brainy shows up, in typical fashion, with a wheelbarrow to store his candies. Papa explains that everyone gets the same amount. When Smurfette is finally served he share of candy by Greedy, he decides to give her an extra piece, but she refuses out of a sense of fairness to the others.

Back at her house, Smurfette eats her first piece of candy. After eating it, she says "I wish I could have another!" Then, Devil Smurf appears and tells her to indulge in her desire for more candy. Angel Smurf implores Smurfette to save her candies, to no avail. The Devil Smurf laughs manically as Smurfette says, "Oh, I guess it won't hurt if I have just one more..."

As the day progresses, Smurfette eats more and more candy. Eventually, it is all gone. The Angel Smurf appears and says, "Poor Smurfette, I hope you've learned your lesson." The Devil Smurf appears and coaxes Smurfette into asking her friends for more candy. Angel Smurf replies, "for shame, she can't ask her friends for their candy!" Smurfette, however, agrees with the Devil Smurf and decides to ask her friends for their candy.

Smurfette visits Painter to borrow some candy, but he tells her that he has eaten all of his already (he really has it hidden inside a painting of the candy!) Smurfette next goes to visit Papa Smurf, but he is out getting Smurfberry root (to make Smurfberry root beer) to go with his candy. Smurfette is again tempted by Devil Smurf and she goes rummaging through Papa's books to look for his candy. The books fall on top of her and the Devil Smurf points out one of the open pages - a spell called the Smurfy Touch. The Devil explains that once Smurfette says the words in the spell, anything she touches becomes anything she wants it to be - like Smurfberry candy. The spell is as follows, "izzit fizzit fazzit foo, ibiit abbot ribbit doo, I don't presume to ask too much, just please give me the smurfy touch!"

At first, Smurfette is happy with the ability to turn anything she touches into Smurfberry candy. Soon, however, it is revealed to be a curse - even her house turns into candy! Smurfette goes looking for Papa Smurf. On her travels, she accidentally turns Brainy into Smurfberry candy. Smurfette decides to leave the village because she is too dangerous to the other Smurfs.

Papa eventually returns to his house after getting his Smurfberry root from Farmer, and immediately notices that the Smurfy Touch spell has been used. He deduces quite quickly that Smurfette is the culprit. Searching for Smurfette, Papa finds a group of Smurfs examining a candy Brainy smurf. He tells the others that Smurfette's spell has actually turned Brainy into candy!

Gargamel is out in the forest collecting crabgrass for a souffle. Azrael discovers a tree that has been transformed into Smurfberry candy. Gargagmel infers that if Smurfberry candy is near, so must be Smurfs! Soon enough, he captures Smurfette, who is crying over her predicament. Smurfette quickly escapes, though, by turning Gargamel's net into candy.

The Smurfs (Papa, Greedy, Hefty and Vanity) go looking for Smurfette. Hefty finds a bush that has been changed into candy. They know Smurfette must be nearby! Meanwhile, Smurfette may have escaped Gargamel's net, but Gargamel and Azrael are fast on her tail! As she beings to slow down, Gargamel says, "Oh what a yummy little cream puff she'll make!" The Smurfs eventually catch up to Smurfette, who is across the river being chased by Gargamel. As she crosses a log that spans the river to reach Papa and the other Smurfs, she uses the Smurfy Touch to turn the tree trunk into candy - making Gargamel and Azrael both fall into the river. Smurfette escapes and the Smurfs go back to the village.

Back in the village, Handy uses a machine on Smurfette that forces endless spoonfuls of medicine into her mouth. She says, "Yuck, ugh, how much longer do I have to eat this terrible antidote, Papa Smurf?" Papa replies, "for another hour or two, Smurfette, until the Smurfy Touch spell is counteracted." The Angel and Devil Smurf reappear, and the Devil is scooped up by one of Handy's spoons and falls into the yucky medicine. Smurfette and the Angel laugh. The Angel says, "somehow, we always get what we deserve, don't we Smurfette?"

Papa Smurf returns Brainy Smurf to normal using the spell "ipso facto, bring Brainy backo!" Brainy returns, unharmed, to Smurfette's delight. Smurfette expresses that she is glad to see Brainy. Brainy responds by asking for Smurfberry candy! He is then tossed into a big barrow full of Smurfberry candy. Brainy closes the show saying, "honestly, sometimes I think I'm the only smurf in this village that isn't out of his smurf".
