The Smurflings were four young Smurfs who appeared in Raven Child's series of Smurfs fanfiction stories, who for the most part are identical to their cartoon show universe counterparts. However, a disaster in the Smurf Village that wiped out most of the Smurfs and Smurfettes living together left the Smurflings as well as Brainy, Brainette, Hefty, Toughette, Baby Smurf and Babette as the only survivors. Eventually, as Hefty, Toughette, Baby, and Babette were also taken from the group and placed in suspended animation, the Smurflings grew up and helped Brainy and Brainette find a way to defeat Asmoday and to release the captured Smurfs from their suspended animation. Over time the Smurflings became part of a new Smurf Village that was created in a secluded forest in North America.
