The Sphinx is a mystical creature whom the Smurfs encountered in their journey around the world to restore the power of the Long Life Force Stone in "Smurfquest". She guards the purest source of the earth element and tests those who enter her pyramid with a riddle that she will allow to leave if they correctly answer her riddle. She could be rather ferocious to those who don't answer her riddle correctly.
