Tharp is a baby gargoyle who first appeared in the episode "The Gargoyle Of Quarrel Castle" in Season 4, becoming friends with the Smurfs. He lives in Quarrel Castle, along with Selwyn and Tallulah, as well as numerous ghosts of their ancestors. Selwyn and Tallulah keep him as a pet. His vocabulary consists only of his own name repeated over and over, but still does not seem to have much trouble communicating with others. He also becomes friends with Peewit during the Season 4 episode "Petrified Smurfs".
