The Moor's Baby
Trivia
- The only time in the cartoon series that mentions God.
- The algebraic problem
K + E [y] = 4
[K] E + y = 10
K + [E] y = 8
found in "The Moor Baby" was solved by Baby Smurf in this way:
a) In the first row, 4 divides by K + E (4/K + E) where K and E each represent "1" and adds up to 2, so 4 divides by 2 (4/2) equals 2. Since "y" is missing in the equation, then y = 2
b) In the second row, 10 divides by E + y (10/E + y) where E and y each represent "1" and adds up to 2, so 10 divides by 2 (10/2) equals 5. Since "K" is missing in the equation, then K = 5
c) In the third and last row, 8 divides by K + y (8/K + y) where K and y each represent "1" and adds up to 2, so 8 divides by 2 (8/2) equals 4. Since "E" is missing in the equation, then E = 4
d) To solve the algebraic problem, Baby adds the results of K, E, and y (which are "5" for K, "4" for E, and "2" for y respectively), so 5 + 4 + 2 equals 11.
