A new animated movie called "The Smurfs" is being developed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. It will be the first Smurfs movie to use 3D computer-generated animation and will also incorporate live-action. The Culliford family is overseeing the production of this movie, which is set for a release on December 17, 2010.
