Weakling Smurf

Weakling is a Smurf with very low self-esteem who thinks he's worthless. But in the end, he built up his strength, confidence, and willpower and became the second strongest Smurf after Hefty. Weakling appeared only in the Season 3 episode "A Little Smurf Confidence". He can often be seen wearing a black strip (not belt) around his pants.

There is some fan speculation that Weakling became Tuffy, but whether that is true or not remains uncertain at best. In Vic George's series of Smurfs fanfiction stories related to his character Empath, Tuffy appears under his own name in stories that have taken place prior to the present time established by both the series and the cartoon show.
